Eretz Daikon Radish Seeds are a great option for both an all around soil improving plant AND a killer forage option! As a soil improver, they will suppress unwanted growth as well as loosen and aerate the soil with their massive radish root and deep reaching taproot. As they die off naturally they deposit huge amounts of biomass and mulch while collecting and holding available nitrogen for the future crops. As a forage crop Daikon are a wonderful and fast growing brassica; great for a wildlife forage plot or domestic animals uses, both the green leaves and the huge radish root.
Plant in mid summer to early Fall for optimal growth, or even Early Spring. Should have mature plants and radishes in 60 or so days! Will naturally die off with a few nights of heavy frost.
